An evening of experimental music and jazz-concepts with New York-based bands and musicians. With Matana Roberts Quartet, Francisco Mora Catlett, Ife. This performance is a part of a series of concerts and public programs conceived through a dialogue with Greg Tate and artist Xaviera Simmons and is in conjunction to Simmons' installation "How to Break Your Own Heart: Visitors Welcome". Simmons has created a music salon for jazz-DJing and live experimental music in the Project Space at Art in General‹a storefront gallery on street-level, with windows facing Walker Street and Courtland Alley Xaviera.
