Reading Notes: Wanda Coleman
Reading Notes: Wanda Coleman

I just bought Wanda Coleman's Mercurochrome. I am slowly checking it out, but I am definitely digging it hard. She is one of those people who make you want to go ahead and use a word like fierce, even though you try to use it sparingly. Sometimes there's no better word, you know?
You need to check this book out on your own, but here's a line I'm appreciating, from "Black-Handed Curse":
"May the limitations you impose on those more gifted than yourself steal the beats of your heart."
Nice, eh?
